Basundi with Tukda Desserts, Veg
Ingredients:
- 1 Litre full cream milk
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- Few strands of saffron
- 5 Slices of bread
- Ghee for deep fry of bread slices
Method:
- Boil in milk heavy base pan/kadhai in high to medium flame
- Put strands of saffron in milk
- Reduce more than half of milk and comes in curdled form then add sugar and saffron milk
- Take out the Basundi in a bowl and cool in fridge.
For Tukda:
- Cut sides of bread slices and in triangle shape
- Deep fry in ghee only.
For plating :
Place the Tukda in bowl, pour Basundi and garnish with crushed pistachios & almonds.
