8 June 2020 Basundi with Tukda Desserts, Veg

Ingredients:

  • 1 Litre full cream milk
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • Few strands of saffron
  • 5 Slices of bread
  • Ghee for deep fry of bread slices

Method:

  • Boil in milk heavy base pan/kadhai in high to medium flame
  • Put strands of saffron in milk
  • Reduce more than half of milk and comes in curdled form then add sugar and saffron milk
  • Take out the Basundi in a bowl and cool in fridge.

For Tukda:

  • Cut sides of bread slices and in triangle shape
  • Deep fry in ghee only.

For plating :

Place the Tukda in bowl, pour Basundi and garnish with crushed pistachios & almonds.
