The Hospitality Purchasing Manager’s Forum (HPMF) is poised to celebrate its 14th Anniversary with a grand Convention and Awards event from September 26th to 29th, 2024. This year, the event will take place in the culturally rich cities of Lucknow and Ayodhya Dham, showcasing the theme of a unique blend of business and an immersive journey through the rich and timeless culture of Shri Ram's city and the renowned Nawabi “Tehzeeb”.
The annual Procurement Excellence Awards, which were first introduced in 2012 and are now in their 12th year, will be the highlight of the event. These awards are eagerly anticipated by delegates and industry vendors, symbolizing tremendous honor and prestige. This year, in addition to recognizing procurement excellence, HPMF will also honor vendors to the hospitality industry for their significant contributions.
Dr. Nitin Shankar Nagrale, Founder and General Secretary of HPMF, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “The delegates and all other participants will experience the magical journey of the life of Parampurush Shri Ram and the rich heritage of Awadh through Cultural Shows, Cuisine, visits to historical places, and exotic displays of ancient crafts. Besides the spectacular shows and intense discussions, presentations from industry experts and highly acclaimed Corporate Speakers will address the gathering. Eminent Hospitality Honchos, achievers in various fields, and well-known corporate leaders have been invited to the event as Chief Guests and Guests of Honor. As always, well-organized B2B meets will be the highlight of the convention too, with over 40 vendors attending the event.”
HPMF is a consortium of purchasing managers from the hospitality industry, representing star hotels, catering companies, stand-alone restaurant chains, retail chains, and airlines. Since its inception in 2010, HPMF has grown into a global organization with over 6000 members from the hospitality purchasing fraternity. It is the first of its kind in India, providing a platform for buyers from the hospitality industry. HPMF focuses on the training and development of procurement professionals, consolidated procurement, industry product standardization, volume discounts, improved professionalism in the purchasing process, development of potential vendors, green initiatives, and corporate social responsibilities.
This year’s event in Lucknow and Ayodhya Dham promises to be a remarkable celebration of both professional excellence and cultural heritage, marking another significant milestone for HPMF.
